Backup Crashes

I am trying to backup onto a network drive. About halfway through the backup, the program crashes.

The log contains the following:

Information Job 'My Documents' Jack 01/18/2010 18:56 Execute backup operation on the job.

Warning Job 'My Documents' Jack 01/18/2010 18:56 My Music

Warning Job 'My Documents' Jack 01/18/2010 18:56 My Pictures

Warning Job 'My Documents' Jack 01/18/2010 18:56 My Music

Warning Job 'My Documents' Jack 01/18/2010 18:56 My Pictures

Warning Job 'My Documents' Jack 01/18/2010 18:56 My Videos

Error System Jack 01/18/2010 19:22 abSynchDiskWriterForBackup::write ()::Output stream is null!!!

I am running Vista Ultimate on a Dell Inspiron 1730 with all updates installed. The network drive is connected to my home network through the router. The other 2 PCs on the network (one running Vista, the other XP) don't have any problem backing up on to the same drive.

Any thoughts?
