why does the anti phishing filter block every pop up, it even blocks the pop up for live assistance saying the web page is unsafe??

U sure u can't choose to disable pop ups blocking whenever u want to?I mean every software designed to block pop ups should have that option.Check the settings of da BD module responsable with pop ups control and set it to default.Myabe your internet toolbar from google might block them,or u must set from Internet options to allow more pop ups.

PS:i only used 2008 IS once(the beta 4)for a brief period but are u sure Anti phishing is da module responsable for pop ups control?I'm not an expert on 2008 IS " /> and the anti phishing module is new on BD.

The filter is a little bit too aggressive. If you wanted to allow certain popups from sites you have to press on the red BitDefender icon and press on add to white list enter the site name press on add after that press on ok.

amazing just when it goes wrong on top of this phishing filter thing i lost all use of it all together, bd internet security 2008 just would not respond to anything so i have re installed it twice no becuase another prob i had on boot up was a warning it could not verify the publisher!!! But since the latest re install all is ok and the phishing filter is letting me aes what i want.

This is a really good product and it will have bugs, have been wit hbd for nearly 3 years now and was going to try something else when my current subscription ran out but on this update despite teething problems i m definetly going to stay with bit defender. the support is second to none.
