Vsserv.exe Problem


I installed BitDefender Antivirus 2009 version on 7/8/09, and have the same problem as many others concerning vsserv.exe hanging up the computer. I followed your directions (see attached from vsserv.exe discussions) where it says to uninstall 2009 version, and load 2010 version FOR FREE for the balance of my 1 year subscription, to see if it helps the problem. I loaded it, and its asking me to enter a license key (or buy one). WHAT'S THE DEAL HERE!!! First your product annoys the heck out of me, so I look for some help... Then you're trying to charge me again for a license key??????? I want some resolution to this ASAP.......
