Help: Port Scan

Hi, so I was just watching some movies on my pc when I suddenly gotten a popup from the Bitdefender application about an IP 81.xx.****** ~ that was doing a port scan on me. Can't remember excatly what it said since it was gone within 3 seconds. Either said that that someone from the IP was doing a port scan on me or, tried accesing me.

I've been trying to find the log activities in the application but I'm unable to find that IP.

2010/03/17 17:03:27.078 [bDFDRVI] Settings changed: enabled 1, def action 5, monitor procs 1, ignore signed procs 1, ics 0, ids 0, wireless 0, block port scans 1

2010/03/17 19:13:00.296 [bDFDRVI] New event received - id: 83, type: 2

That's the two latest logs I found.

So, anyone know how I could find that IP that popped up?

Thanks in advance,

Jurlak.

  • Hello Jurlak,

To find out this information, you need to open BitDefender and press the View Logs button (lower right corner).

Go to Firewall where you will find listed the port block activity.
