Feature Request / Bug Fix

Thank you for updating so that 'Privacy Control' settings would not be lost when you changed level.

Feature Request

- A way to block all: Registry edits, Cookie's and/or ******'s. (A button somewhere to deny all?)

- A way to block all content from a specific url. (say www.xyz.com) and all extensions of that (e.g. w.xyz.com)

- A way to import blacklisted urls

- Given that now the settings are saved, it appears the only way to delete many from the list is to "select and delete" each one manually. I think a 'Clear List' option should be provided now - only makes sense.

- A way to turn off the message " BitDefender is trying to establish a secure connection in order to encrypt this conversation. BitDefender: A secure connection has been established. This conversation is encrypted."

Question

- Why does the antiphising only work with certain applications?

Thanks

  • List in Privacy Control - WIPED AGAIN!

Update wiped it this time. Please fix this

  • Hello TheBigPJ,

Unfortunately we are still working for a fix for the privacy control issue. The fix will be done by means of automatic update and won't require any additional action from your part. Please rest assured that we will let you know about the fix as soon as we will launch it.

Thank you for taking the time to provide the feedback to us. The feature requests will be sent to the appropriate department and we will try to take them into consideration for our next products.

Also, regarding your requests, we would like to inform you the following:

    - we would not recommend to block all the Registry edits because this might block all the installation and the software updates you would try to do.

    - for the Cookie and ****** control you can add exceptions to the list for the Expert Mode -> Privacy Control module -> Cookie/****** tab -> click on the + sign from the top right corner. Here you can Block/Allow all entries using the Any option or you can enter a specific Domain.

    Thank you.
