Poor Performance From Bitdefender Antivirus 2010
We purchased and installed Bit Defender 2010 Anti Virus on two of our computers in our home office. The program slowed our computers down to the point that we could not be productive. In addition, the program kept crashing the computers and wouldn't recognize certain drives when I tried a repair on BitDefender (per the phone tech's suggestion). After calling them numerous times, e-mailing them and trying live chat, I was unsuccessful in resolving any of the issues. I tried to uninstall using my control panel but Bit Defender would not allow it. I finally had to use Bit Defender's uninstall tool (hopefully that worked!) and we have now gone back to our previous anti virus program. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I still have yet to hear back from Bit Defender from the e-mail I sent to them 4 days ago and they had promised on their website that I would be contacted within 48 hours.
