Bd Disabled Dvd-rom Drive?

in Bitdefender 2010 products

I've searched in this forum but could not find any information on this issue. Since installing BD2010 DVDs and CDs no longer play in my DVD-rom drive. I've tried adding the drive to the exclusions list but it will only allow adding just the drive. Auto-play is enabled, and I can open the drive and find the files manually. But this is an issue that hopefully has a solution.

    Hello wombat,


    Please open BitDefender -> go to Settings and Switch UI to Expert Mode. Go to the Antivirus module and uncheck the Real time protection is enabled option.


    Please let us know if the issue persists with the Real time protection disabled.
