How does it select the files? Is it safe?

Hello Emile,

The File Shredder module does not automatically remove anything. You can choose what files you want to erase, and BitDefender will only erase those files and nothing else. So it's as safe as you make it, because if you select an important file and erase it, you can't recover it anymore.
