I keep getting the "Gen.Swizzor.2 accessed by svchost.exe" notification and I wanted to view the log files. However, no where I look has the log files for scans performed by BD. What the heck? Does BD not keep logs?

On BitDefender Security Center main window, on the lower right corner of the window, there is a button called View logs. Click on it, and you will find all logs for all BitDefender modules.
