    Hi kosay85,

    Never saw your message before.

    Two tips:

    1) The Windows firewall is deactivated? We always should do that... and sometimes we forget to to do it again when we reformat a PC and installing the antimalware soft.

    2) You surf with a proxy? (either the proxy should be activated in both firefox/IExplorer and BD or deactivated in both too.)

The common reason which prevents BD's online updates, as far as I know.

    3) Do you have access to internet?

The installation of your main soft ran smoothly and with no trouble?

    4) Did you input your BD access code that was given when you purchased it?

Please give as many details as possible on your system, (XP, Vista? Seven? else? - 32 bits, 64 bits?), a technician will help you in a little while probably

(According to your image, you download a 32 bits...)

    Regards

    L.

  • The problem end when I contact my PC to internet and do live update

NOTE I use XP SP 3

    Thank you

  • Hello,

Please let me know if you receive any error message after you follow the steps below. Make sure you have BitDefender in EXPERT mode therefore try to update as explained below:

    1. Double click on the BitDefender's icon to open the Security Center.

    2. Switch to 'Expert Mode' from the 'Settings' button.

    3. Go to the UPDATE tab.

    4. Click on 'Update Now' button

[How to create a screen shot]

On Windows, press the Print Screen or Prnt Scrn key on your keyboard, found at

the upper right of the keyboard. This key will capture the entire screen.

Open up your paint program -click on "Start-> All Programs-> Accessories->

    Paint".

In the paint program, select File/New, then Edit/Paste.

Then save the file as JPG and attach it to this topic.
