Setting Up Home Network
My search failed me. Sorry if I've missed this topic.
I'm running Internet Security 2010 on both computers.
My "old" computer is running Windows Vista. My "new" computer is running Windows 7.
My old computer was previously part of a network with an "old old" computer running Windows XP and everything worked fine.
I cannot start the home network althugh both computers show the router with the same ip address. On the "network" screen each screen shows its own computer.
When I try to add a computer no computers show up on the list - on either computer. I get an error message that says "The selected coputer does not have BitDefenjder installed or it is not accessable. Please check if Bitdefender is installed on tht computer and try again."
Windows Firewall is off on both computers.
The same thing happens on both computers.
I'm sure I've missed something simple, but can't find it. Any help will be appreciated.
