After recently upgrading BDTS v2009 (Dutch) to v2010, I have some problems, remarks and questions. During the last week(s), I've sent 3 messages to Support, using the e-mail ticket option at the web site. But the responses from Support (SAV-NL) are useless and rather annoying (up to now). So, I'm starting now to post my comments and problems in forum topics.
My OS is Windows XP Pro, SP3 Dutch.

I'm using now for nearly one year BDTS v2009 (Dutch) and I'm satisfied about the product. A few days ago, I started (finally) the action to upgrade to v2010. Via 'My BitDefender', 'Download kit' and bitdefender_tsecurity.exe, I've downloaded the appropriate files bdts.msi and pluginsx86.exe. The upgrade process was rather long (with a few difficulties) and the language was a mix of UK and NL (as far as I remember, mainly UK). After finishing the upgrade process, the language was (I thought) Dutch. But after running an update (definitions, etc), the program/screens are now UK. How can I change that to my preferred language?
Note. The downloaded bdts.msi file contains Dutch words and phrases. So, it seems to be the right one. [end of initial message]
I've re-installed BDTS 2010 using/running bitdefender_tsecurity.exe (and thus, downloading bdts.msi and pluginsx86.exe again). I choose 'Repair' at the beginning (the other choice was 'Remove') and after the (mandatory) system restart at about 75% of the progress bar, the installation continues. After finishing, the system has to be restarted again and then BDTS is the wanted Dutch version. Then starting an 'Update', the screen shows (as before) a very large total (94159 KB) and when finished, the system should be restarted (unusual after updating the "definitions")!! And after rebooting, I see that my initial message was a correct description of a problem: BDTS is now UK.
Note. I don't understand that this is an unknown/unsolved problem. Version 2010 is released long ago and I suppose that I'm not the only user who upgrades the Dutch version 2009 to 2010. And a clean installation (after removing BDTS) will probably give the same problem, but I've not tested that.
But, of course, before running the update, I have copied the BDTS folder. And after booting the other OS (I've a dual-boot system), I replaced the \Enu folder by the one from the copy and now the program is Dutch again.
Note. Most (or all?) BitDefender files and folders are protected against viewing, editing or replacing. And switching languages is rather easy now by renaming the \Enu folders after booting the other OS.
Well, I thought only shortly that I had solved the problem (for me, not for other users). But when starting a new update, there came (after a while) a warning that the services were temporarily disabled and a little later, I had to restart the system. That the language after the reboot was UK again, was no surprise to me after such an update.
But apart from this problem, why is the BitDefender language situation not configured (programmed) the "usual" way? A lot of multi-language programs has one general installation package with optional language modules. And in the setup options, the user can easily switch between languages.
