Bit Defender And Iis7 Web Server

Can anyone give any advice on configuring my system with Bitdefender & IIS7

I host a website on my machine via IIS7. Have just installed Bitdefender total security 2010.

(Windows 7 Ultimate x64)

Have managed to configure so I can access my site on localhost.... just now need to configure for the outside world to see.

Defenintly the firewall blocking access as when I disable for 5 mins you can log in to the website fine (via the web not local network) as soon as I re-enable the firewall, access to the website is blocked.

Presume I need to allow access to port 80 via the rules but what other info goes in there....

Can anyone help?

Hi,

Follow the steps below and let me know if the issue is resolved:

1. Open BitDefender Security Center and go to Firewall module

2. Click on the Network tab

3. Set the Trust Level to Trusted Local

4. Set the Stealth mode to Off

5. Set the Generic to Yes

6. Go to THIS website and see your IP address

7. Under the firewall tab -> Zones click on the small '+' and add the IP to be allowed.

8. Restart the computer and test to see if the issue persist.
