Vista Says Bd Is Turned Off

Hello!

In november last year installed BitDefender Antivirus 2010 (current version 13.0.21.347)

I installed it on my computer and my mother's and since I am mostly on my own computer I don't know exactly when this started but on my mother's computer there appears to be a problem.

Every time I start her computer a message from Windows Security center. I click the message to try and turn it on again. First time, 2 days ago, I simply clicked the green On-button (in the win sec center) and it turned BD on again.

But this doesn't work everytime, today yes, I turned it on in Windows security center but it didn't work yetsreday. I clicked to turn it On but no change.

This is some info on my mother's computer, if you need more let me know.

Win Vista SP2

64-bit

I am not a very tech-savvy computer user I'm afraid:/ But I will do as told since I want to fix this! So just tell me what to do.

Please complete the steps below on the computer having the Security Center issue and let me know if the issue still persist:

1. Click on Start menu button then go to Run

2. Type services.msc and click on OK

3. In the new window search for the service called: Security Center

4. Set it to start-up Automatic (Delayed start)

Go to Control Panel -> Windows Security Center and tell me if the message disappear few minutes after you start the PC or persist. Also please mention what exactly part of BitDefender is displayed in WSC as outdated / not running.
