I have BitDefender2009 on a Vista PC. This morning there was a message that Bitdefender had found a virus backdoor.hupigon.9012 that it was unable to disinfect. As I clicked through things it said the affected file was BitDefender_2009\bdthunderbird.bdx and told me to get an on-line version of it via BitDefender - I went to the online screen and got back an error message that there was an error and this could not be done.

Right now my PC is running fine but I am a little worried about running a scan (deep system scan button does not seem to respond and full system starts OK but I canceled it before it got far).

I have looked on google for reports about this and there were a couple of discussions but I can't get a sense if this was a false positive or there is something I need to do.

Could you please let me know?
