Adware Removal Issue

have run defender antivirus 2008 a couple of times and it shows 4 infections-purityscan.bh adware. will not delete or quarantine, says it is in archive. how does a person find and delete this stuff. i am not a computer guru but can usually get things done with some instruction. any help is much appreciated

Hello ernz

Open BitDefender press on settings,antivirus,quarantaine. Now select the infected archive by left clicking on it with your mouse button keep the left mouse button pressed and release the button when you are in the quarantaine section. Download also this program. Choose one of the download links and wait till the download screen appears. Install the program start it press on update and download the updates and perform a scan. For removing the leftovers.

Same or almost same problem here. Stuck with the dam Trojan.downloader.purityscan.dh

Try many anti-virus and spyware but it did not remove it yet. Opened a trouble ticket with BD, will see...

Anyone have instructions or software that actually work?
