Vsserv.exe

Dear Technical Team

I've been using bitdefender internet security for an year now i changed to total security 2010 which is good and has tuneup and backup tools. The main problem is the vsserv.exe process which is killing my computer, i had the problem when i used windows 7 and even after changing to windows XP i have the same problem. It keeps on taking 100% CPU usage very often say like 4-5 times in 1 hour usage. Its very annoying and i'm unable to use any apps because of this. My computer is a desktop running on P4 2.8Ghz, 3GB RAM,500 GB HDD, Nvidia 512 MB graphics. I've also tried going into safe mode and renamed the file httpproxy.dll still no use. As a last resort i'm writing to you other than this i've no other solution and have to uninstall and make my computer prone to viruses. Kindly help. Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

  • Since your PC hardware meets the minimum requirements, you should consider upgrading for free to the 2011 version. You can read about it and get the necessary instructions in this topic.

Download and run the BD uninstall tool which can be found HERE. Then, download and install BD 2011 from the appropriate link found HERE.

    Hope that helps,
