" /> After installing bitdefender 10 on my Dell Inspiron LapTop I can no longer use the printer on my home network. I have done just about every suggestion I can find via a google search / windows support. The only thing I was able to get back was the ability to see all of the computers on my network (directory / network places) but I still can print or click on any of the wired computers on the network without getting an access denied message. I can however click on any of the 3 wireless computers and get to the shared folders on them (go figure).
I contacted support and e-mailed them all of the information they requested but that was over a week ago and haven’t heard anything.

All but the Dell laptop can use the network printer and I have since uninstalled this program and other than re-installing XP I am totally baffled.
If I plug it into the network via network card it works fine and I can access the printer and all of the shared folders on the entire network.
What ever Bitdefender does when it’s installed creates the problem with the wireless network on the Dell computer. It’s this computer not any of the others so please don’t suggest firewall, permissions or anything to do with any of the other computers on the network because they all work fine. What ever the problem is it’s on the computer where bitdefender was installed. There has to be something within the program that turns something off or alters a registry or security file.
If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated since support doesn’t seem to have a clue.
Thanks
