Adware.cres.d Found In Program Files
I recently ran a BitDefender full system scan and discovered two infections in C:\Program Files\STK017_V2.01\STK017M.exe The problems detected were Adware.Cres.B and Adware.Cres.D
The disinfection failed, but the files were moved to the Quarantine folder. I managed to remove manually Adware.Cres.B, but Adware.Cres.D is still there, moreover, a second full system scan showed the BitDefender application itself had been infected with this Adware.Cres.D, eventually moved to Quarantine.
As I am not a computer spet, but just a regular user, I would really appreciate an answer that could explain to me what these items are (if they are viruses or not) and how I could clean them from my computer. Also, I should mention that two days before the infection, I had installed a USB driver for a digital camera. Could that have been the cause? Thank you!

Hello CRobert
Double click on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock, press on settings,go to antivirus, quarantaine, select the quarantained files and press on the remove/delete item (it's a folder icon). It could be included with a driver.
Best regards
