Product Follow Up

Howdy Folks,


I want a new security program for my computers, I am considering BitDefender and I would like to get some opinions.


What is most important to me whenever I buy anything (Cars, software, electric toothbrushes, birdcages……anything) is the post sales follow up. Warranty, ease of contact, Tech Support, Guarantee, obligations etc……these things interest me more than the product initially.


I would like to get some comments on Contact and Tech Support for BitDefender.


Are they easy to contact…..email and phone?


What is they quality, attitude and cost of their Tech Support?


I have used Norton for many years and I despise them.


I post with large font because I don’t see well.

    The biggest advantages of BitDefender are for me the follow:


    Very good reaction time : you get updates very often if you compared it with Symantec's Norton. Mostly you receive updates once in 4 hours. But you can change the interval.


    Bootable rescue cd-rom to disinfect your pc.


    Livechat,telephone,mail support. That depends who you get to help you. But overall they are very friendly and knowledge to help you. Telephone support I can't tell you anything about it. Livechat is the easiest and quickest way to contact them.


    Possibility to install it on more pc's also you get the chance to choose if you want a 1 or 2 year licence.


    Not so cpu demanding if you compare it with norton.


    High dection and removal rate. If you look at security websites.
