Threats Found

I just downloaded the trial version of bitdefender anti-virus 2011.


Problem is when installing it did a quick scan to see if there were threats that would interfere with installation.


Worryingly it found 14 threats. But it didn't tell me what they were. It just said moving to quarantine.


Now bitdefender is installed i've looked in quarantine but nothing is there. I've also checked the logs but nothings there.


The only websites visited since uninstalling mcafee were a few review websites for anti-viruses. And I used google chrome to visit those. So can't really see how I could have picked up 14 threats in that time.


Is there any way of finding out what these were?


Any installation log files I can check?


Could they have just been cookies?


I have used IE and firefox as well so both those browsers have cookies stored.


Does bitdefender even check for cookies?


If they were just cookies then I wish you didn't class them as threats without telling me what they were. Because cookies are harmless.
