Installed Bitdefender 2011 on machine running Windows XP pro SP3 over the weekend. When starting it up the next morning the desktop did not load. ( Waited 20 min) While trying to troubleshoot it I noticed that if I restarted it the problem existed but if I did a shutdown and reboot the desktop would occasionally load. Have checked the firewall under expert mode, but can find nothing that would cause this problem. Booted in safemode and tried a scan, - nothing amiss. Any ideas?
