Image.dd How Do I Read This File?

    I used the Test disc function to save my documents to a usb drive and the file is image.dd . How do I attempt to retrieve my data from image.dd ? These files were not visible in the file manager.

    I went to the Test disc site and they recommend changing the file name to : image.img or image.dmg and double clicking it. Still cant find a program to read it.
