Bitdefender AV10


It took me 3 days to figure out why one of my programs would not work


Bitdefender locks AppInit_DLLs value with its "sockspy.dll".


I need to add another dll there but it will not let me. After every restart, bitdefender injects its sockspy.dll there overwriting the value. <_<


I need to know if there is a way to circumvent this.


By the way, Bitdefender IS2008 does not seem to have this problem.

    Never mind, I've deleted the file in Safe Mode and replaced the entry. I works fine and bitdefender does not seem affected. As I understand the library is used to scan outlook files before they get read. I don't use the spam filter so maybe this is the reason why I didn't encounter problems.


    Don't have time to investigate further as long as this works it's ok.
