Parental Control Blocks Ip Address

As per my recent post on topic http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=25725

When I enabled Parental Control network printing will not work. I tried pinging the network printer's IP but timed out, but when I disabled parental control, pinging replied. Any suggestions?

I haven't tried pinging other IPs and to see if network sharing is also prevented. I thought it supposed to be only websites/URL to be blocked not IPs.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
