Is there an update coming that will stop the following attachment from popping up every time I log my computer on?


I do not want to be a defender of the web, and this is annoying.


One time it stayed there and i could not close it, which meant I had to restart the computer, because there were folders under the pop up that I needed access to.


( and no I could not move the popup window either.n )


If this is going to keep happening with no update fix for it, please tell me what the exact exe file for this is called, so I can kill it forever.


I could not see it running in the task manager either

    Hello ce3mpe,


    I am sorry if this caused any inconvenience to you. In order to turn off such notifications, you will have to disable the BitDefender News option as follows:


    • Open BitDefender, click Options in the upper-right corner of the window and choose Preferences.

    • Select the General Settings tab


    • Turn off the BitDefender News option
