  • Hi Jonathan,

    Block port scans - detects and blocks attempts to find out which ports are open.

    Port scans are frequently used by hackers to find out which ports are open on your computer. Please click on "more details" when the block ports pop-up appear on the screen and tell me what IP is listed there.

  • Hello,

    Please follow the steps below to add the IP to the list of trusted zones and see if the issue still occur:

    1. Open BitDefender Security Center and click on 'Settings';

    2. Go to Firewall;

    3. Go to Advanced;

    4. Click on 'Adapter rules';

    5. In the new window select the network adapter you are currently using and double click on it;

    6. In the new window type the IP: 192.168.1.6

    7. Select 'Allow' then hit OK;

    8. Test to see if the issue still occurs.

    Looking forward to your answer!

  • Hello,

    I will need a firewall log with increased verbosity as explained in the email I've sent you. Your ticket ID is: 201108301000501. Please send me the two files for analysis:

    - support tool log;

    - bdfirewall.txt;

    Please check your email and reply with the requested log files.

    Regards,
