I wanted to upgrade from BDIS 2011 (64 bit NL) to BDIS 2012 (64 bit NL). I purchased a new license key an downloaded a package of 245MB succesfully. During install my previous version of BD needed to be uninstalled, so it happend. After a required reboot the setup of BDIS 2012 went on. But... when I tried to enter my license key a pop-up message appeared: 'there was an error of downloading some install files. what would you like to do'? (translated from Dutch, don't know exactly the English dialog...).
Long story short, after clicking continue I was able to enter my license key, but then the installation stopped because there was no internet connection, try again later. (but I obviously have one...).
Solutions I've tried: Uninstalled manually using the Uninstall-tool (during live chat...), Un-blocked the installation file (245MB), downloading-during-installation method from a small app. 800kB file (no internet connection). Emptied my %temp% folder with remaining BD files, disabled software that could interfere (like Tune-up Utilities an Wyse browser)...
At last I (accidentally) downloaded the US-EN version and guess what? Installation went well. In a couple of minutes I had BDIS 2012 installed! But, of course, I want the Dutch version properly to be installed instead of the US-EN version.
