Weird Setting After Update For 2012 Internet Security

My PC run fine until some stupid silent update to the internet security suite yesterday.

I was surfing the web until suddenly all my browsers (IE, chrome, firefox) and some other programs were not able to connect to the internet. There was no signal from bitdefender that my settings were changed by the update. I have wasted over 4 hours to figure out what's happened to my internet connection, since I can't believe that bitdefender could easily break my setting without asking me.

Could you please at least pop up a window to notify us the update is going to modify the setting?

Also, what is the point of allowing Web Browsing HTTP in the advanced firewall setting, if I still can't browse the web through HTTP without allowing each individual browser to access the internet? That's silly.

I have been using Bitdefender Internet Security for more than 3 years, but the newest 2012 versions seems to be the worst of them..... there are some unacceptable bugs and some of my favor features are removed.... I hope it is not going to drive me away fro using Bitdefender

1) Unlike previous versions, the Intrusion Detection System block all my program installers even in permissive mode... I have to set it off to make it totally useless

2) The auto pilot mode is just silly, since the new internet security seldom works as expected (or as previous version) if I don't monitor it by myself. Some of my programs didn't work properly in the first few days after upgrading to 2012, until I found that it was the evil auto pilot break the common sense rules...

3) Where is my most favorite activity bar?!?! Don't say it is useless so you can remove this nice feature. It is VERY USEFUL. We can notify some weird HD activities, and so determine which program (like indexing) is using too much resource and so turn it off. We can notify some strange high internet activities when the Bitdefender didn't think it is wierd, and so we can see who is wasting the bandwidth to stop me from watching youtube. We can notify zero internet activity when we expect the browser should be downloading files and streaming videos, so we don't need to wait forever until we figure out the router is off. Who says it is useless?!?!

- IDS blocks the programs or ask you if you wish to allow/deny? Please post a screenshot of the pop-up message you receive from IDS;

- can you please provide me with more details? Names and versions of the programs in question and what exactly you mean by "not working properly";

- the request to re-add the Activity Bar was escalated to the Dev. Team. As soon as I will have an ETA I will let everyone know in the topic open on this subject, under 'Feature Request' forum category.

- you have to allow each browser to connect to the Internet if you keep the Firewall Paranoid mode enabled. This is not the case with the option disabled.
