Just Bought Installed Bd - Few Issues

Hi,


Coming from Caspersky today I bought and installed BitDefender but I experience a few issues:


- Snagit does not function anymore (worked for years). Each time getting a message: 'Failed to save document'


- I wanted to test if above issue is related to BD, so I wanted to shut it down. How can I do this???


There is no exit Program in the menu and using TaskManager to shut down process is denied.


How can I close (and I mean close like not running anymore) BD?

    You can turn off all Antivirus features and options or just parts of it, as following:


    - Auto Scan -> Will disable the real time protection;


    - On-access scanning from Settings >>> Antivirus >>> Shield;


    - AVC -> Active Virus control >>> from Settings >>> Antivirus >>> Shield;


    You can also read the offline manuals where you get full explanations for each BitDefender module from:


    C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2012\support\offlinemanual\html


    In regards to the issue with Snagit also follow the steps explained in THIS article and let me know if the issue is resolved after renaming the file.
