Every time I try to install BDIS 2012 I get the following error:

"Bitdefender 2012 cannot be installed on your operating system" (online/offline installation got this error)

Previous version of BDIS (2011) works fine.

    Hello,

    Khaled MB:

OS: Windows Developer Preview is Windows 8 (also currently using it) and it is not supported. Plus it's a beta stage OS. As a tip: you can right click and set the compatibility for the setup file to run as "Windows 7" and you will be able to install it however I did encounter some Security Center crashes (rarely).

  • Hi Engelhard,

I have analyzed the logs you sent and noticed that you still have BitDefender 2011 installed. Use the uninstall tool below then restart the PC:

After restart use the online installation kit file (the small one) and let me know if the same issue occur.

Last but not least I've noticed that you are using a special version of Windows XP in Polish, not a regular install with the language pack installed. Can you provide me with more details about this OS?
