Bitdefender Stopping Execution Of One Program

Hello,

I'm in trial mode of BitDefender Antivirus Plus 2012 and I've encountered one large problem.

One of my must-use programs is BetTrader (http://racingtraders.co.uk/download/) and it uses some webserver to run within Chrome.

When I start this program it is stopped by BitDefender. I was writing about it at their forum http://racingtraders.co.uk/forum/showthrea...r-amp-Windows-7.

The program runs perfectly when I uninstal BitDefender.

Now, I would like tu purchase the BitDefender, but I will not do it if BetTrader cannot work with BitDefender.

What do I have to do to run both softwares smoothly?

Please read the Forum Rules before posting, specifically, General Rule #6. Before assisting you, we need basic information about your PC's hardware/software configuration.

- Which Windows OS is installed - WinXP, Vista or Win7?

- What Windows Service Pack (SP) is installed - SP1, SP2, SP3, etc.?

- What is the architecture of the Windows OS - 32-bit or 64-bit?

- Do you have any other security program(s) currently installed on your PC?

- Did you uninstall any other security program(s) prior to installing or attempting to install BD?

- If the answer to question 6 is YES, what method did you use to uninstall each - the program's Windows Start Menu 'Uninstall' function, Windows Add/Remove Program function, the company's standalone downloaded uninstall tool or a third party uninstaller such as Revo Uninstaller?

- What type/speed processor (CPU) is in your PC?

- How much memory (RAM) is in your PC?

As a test, turn OFF each BD module one at a time and try to access the website. Let us know if switching one off allows access. Can it be tested with IE?

Can anyone access this website or does it require a login & password? I have BDAV 2012 installed and could try to duplicate your problem. However, I am using IE, not Chrome.
