Can't Send Large(ish) Attachments From My Computer Anymore
I installed Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 last week (on a system using 64 bit Windows 7), and since then I have been unable to send files above 10MB in size from my computer (neither as email attachments from Outlook installed on my computer, nor via a webmail client, nor by uploading them to a file sharing service). Each upload gets so far before permanently stalling. I have uninstalled Bitdefender to try and get around the problem in order to meet an urgent work deadline, but some kind of permanent change appears to have been made to my system. I don't know if the problem is connected to the issue with phantom port scans being detected; I get this too, and I note that other people complain about it severely disrupting their network speed and having to reconfigure their network adapter (I don't have the IT awareness to know what this would involve). The issue is a very serious one for me as it has prevented me from performing basic activities from home that are essential to my job. Any suggestions as to how I might return to normal functionality (even if this means permanently binning Bitdefender) would be greatly appreciated.
