High Resource Utilisation Vsserv.exe

Hi there,

From time to time I suffer from vsserv.exe using an abnormal amount of resources. CPU usage can suddenly peak and reading from disk can keep increasing and increasing. I noticed some old comments on this but it seems most solutions were solved with a personal ticket from tech support.

Brief system specs:

Win7 home prem, Intel Core i5 2.40GHz, 4GB RAM

BitDef Total Security 2012, upgraded from recent purchase of 2009
