Hi Cristi, I have been emailing with Customer Care under ticket ID 201108251026531 however as I am failing to get a response I'm using the forum instead...
Summary of the problem...
SqueezePlay (a PC-based music player for Logitech's Squeezebox Server) only part-connects when BD2012 is installed which means that it is unusable; it is not an installation-specific problem as it occurs on my two PCs, one of which is a clean Windows 7 install.
Current situation...
You advised me to rename httpvs10u.dll to httpvs10u.dl_ which *does* allow SqueezePlay to operate correctly however this file is automatically restored every time BD2012 updates.
On 20th October I sent you the log files and I have not heard from you since; I need to know the following...
1. I have Auto-Update turned off which clearly leaves my computer vulnerable. When I manually update I need to boot in safe mode and rename httpvs10u.dll. How do I stop the dll being updated but still keep the virus signatures up to date?
2. By not having httpvs10u.dll on my system, in what way is my computer vulnerable.
3. When are you going to fix the original problem?
Thanks
