Spam And The 'deleted Items' Folder

Options

Recommend an option to allow users (Thunderbird) to move spam (once detected) automatically to any folder we choose. Currently, it defaults (and only option) to a Spam folder within the Trash.

Not very flexible nor helpful (especially because the Trash is emptied - taking files and folders with it.)

In Microsoft Outlook, spam messages are moved to a Spam folder, located in the Deleted Items folder. The Spam folder is created during the installation of Bitdefender.

In Outlook Express and Windows Mail, spam messages are moved directly to Deleted Items.

In Mozilla Thunderbird, spam messages are moved to a Spam folder, located in the Trash folder. The Spam folder is created during the installation of Bitdefender.

  • Yes, I read all that before I posted to the forums.

What I'm saying is it would be nice to be able to selected other folders (like, any folder in the hierarchy) to send spam to.
