Installed 2012 Comp. Wont Go Into Sleep Mode

I have a Samsung series 3 laptop. Only a week old. First few day i ran without bitdefendor...no problems..Then after i installed it(did this a few times to narrow down that it is bitdefendor) i noticed anytime i hit sleep mode it will not fully go into sleep mode..only goes black then does an improper shutdown after being stuck on the black screen for about half hour. I did a full reboot of my computer, worked fine computer went into sleep mode. Then i reinstaled bitdefender 2012 and it happend again..wont go fully into sleep mode.....ANYONE HAVE THIS ISSUE??
