[escalated]bad Help Files?

I've been using Bitdefender products for a few years and am generally pretty happy. Just upgraded to Total Security 2012 which seems rather different from previous incarnations (e.g. can't schedule a scan etc.) The changes do not worry me as long as I can get to grips with the new system. I usually fiddle about with the help files rather than come to the forums, but the help files don't seem to work properly. I put a word into the search box (e.g. 'toolbar') and the usual links come up in the box below. However if I then click on one of those links, I do not get moved to a specific topic but am simply returned to the 'cover' page. I am too lazy to read through the entire manual - why isn't there a simple indexing system?

Specifically, I am trying to turn off the firewall without being given loss of irritating messages about the firewall being turned off. I have managed to do this in previous versions, but the current offering is low on user-friendliness.

    Hi

Scheduled Scans are no longer available. A new feature which can provide better protection has been introduced called Auto Scan. It uses a Continuous Scan task, enumerates all files and finds time slices when system resource usage falls below a certain threshold to perform recurring scans of the entire system. (e.g. if the PC is Idle for a long time, the entire system will be scanned).

I was able to reproduce the issue and I have forwarded this to our developers.

Thank you for reporting this. Have a nice day.
