I've installed Bitdefender Total Security 2012 (evaluation licence) on my dad's laptop, Vista operating system. At first it seemed to work ok, but then he would receive a black screen on booting up and it wouldn't enter windows. I got him to boot up in safe mode and uninstall Bitdefender and now the laptop boot_s up and enters windows without problems.
I searched for similar issues on this forum and noticed that there is a conflict between Comodo firewall and Bitdefender. The laptop did have Comodo firewall installed on it a couple of years ago, but it was uninstalled a long time before I installed Bitdefender.
I'd like to continue the trial of Bitdefender on his laptop. Can you please advise what is causing the conflict?
