Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 Won't Install Please Help!

Options

Ok so after having heard such great things about this AV package I decided to buy it.

Only problem is that it won't get past the installation process. I've been struggling with this trying every trick on the website and numerous tickets only to make me seriously rethink the whole decision in the first place.

I have Win7 (32bit)

A Cable connection that is working (obviously)

my other AV software has been removed, it was Avast the free one, which I'm seriously beginning to miss....

I've shut off both my Windows Firewall and Defender

So upon the insertion of the CD into the drive... the window pops up, yep, press the install button, go through the legal mumbo jumbo and accept. Then an Error message pops up stating there was a problem while downloading one of the files. What would you like to do?"

Now I've tried inserting an offline key, tried the evaluation, tried resetting my DNS crap and all that, the Microsgot MrFixit tool for the HKey's whatever junk and after all that I still get the same thing.... nothing. The one link sent to me says download a setup tool from the site, but the only one I can find either wants you to buy the product online or sign-up for some third party crap that I'm totally not gonna do just to get a freaking program that I've already paid for to work properly..... <img class=" />

The final screen image says..."Registration was not complete because this PC is not connected to the Internet. You can continue to use this product for another 30 days... which is total crap because when you click on the install button thereafter it doesn't install..... so I'm stuck, and please forgive the wordage... it's very infuriating that I've been doing the run-around with this crap for 6 hours now....

Anyone other than an email link capable of helping me?
