Command Line - More Detail

Hello,

I have found another thread with this title but would like to expand on it please.

I understand there is a command line scanner, bdc.exe but would like some clarification on where this is and how BitDefender increments the folders for it's definition updates.

I am trying to locate the latest version of bdc.exe somehow...

Welcome to our forums.

bdc.exe is the command line scanner that uses all the definitions to scan a resource.

This utility is located here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Threat Scanner in the newest folder created.

The folder is created randomly with a name like Antivirus_XXXX_****** and with each update the number gets bigger.

If I am not to curious, could you please tell me why do you need this information?
