Start Scan From Command Prompt

Hello,

is there a possibility to start a scan by typing a command line ? Found some useful topics, but they are related to the Linux recovery environment, for myself I would need it for Windows.

regards,

John

    Hello :)

Yes, there is a way to start a scan from Command Prompt.

    Browse to this location:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Threat Scanner

There is a folder called Antivirus_XXXXX_******, where X are some random numbers.

Enter there and launch bdc.exe from Command Prompt.

For parameters, please use bdc.exe /help

Note: the location of bdc.exe is always dynamic.

    Thank you.
