Cd Installation Not Working

I recently bought bitdefender total security 2012. I tried installing form the CD i recieved but i repeatedly got "installation failed".

So i went to the website and downloaded the trial version and acticvated it. Now i am worried why it didn't install from the Cd and i am worried if the version downloaded from the trial will have limited capabilities.
