Cd Installation Not Working

I recently bought bitdefender total security 2012. I tried installing form the CD i recieved but i repeatedly got "installation failed".


So i went to the website and downloaded the trial version and acticvated it. Now i am worried why it didn't install from the Cd and i am worried if the version downloaded from the trial will have limited capabilities.

    Welcome to the forums.


    There is now difference between the kit downloaded from the website and the one from DVD.


    If you have registered the product with your license key and activate it with you My Bitdefender Account, the only thing that you have to do is to press Update now from the main interface.


    In some cases you need to reboot the PC and the product update will be applied.
