Total Security 2012 Firewall
I have recently switched antivirus programs to Bitdefender Total Security 2012 and have started having issues with some programs not working. These issues have only arisen on our PC running Windows XP (not our two Windows 7 systems). After some trial and error I found that it is due to the firewall, and even after adding rules that should allow these programs to function, I am still having issues. I have found that I need to unblock a certain port, an option which doesn't seem to be available in this program. All the info I've been able to find seems to refer to an expert view mode only available in older versions. I believe I need to either A)unblock specific ports, or B)use a different firewall without disabling the other functions of Bitdefender including the autopilot.
