Duplicate Finder - "grouping" Phase Very Slow

When running a scan with duplicate finder, the scanning phase seems to run quite quickly (as fast or slightly faster the the free NoDupe application) but the "grouping" phase takes upwards of 30 minutes, which seems ridiculous. Also, it would be much more useful if it were possible to configure the scan to include only certain file types, or to ignore system files/folders, or allow other exclusions. I would find it very helpful if the results window showed more compact results (i.e. more entries in same space) and if it could be filtered/reorganised.

Can you offer any help on the speed problem?
