Bitdefender Avc Hv Driver Error

In Control Panel Device Manager under System Devices I show an error 'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)'. See attached screen shots. Assistance to rectify would be appreciated.

  • Hi Thomas, and welcome :)

Our Tech. Support mod. will have to help you with that one, but I would maybe like to give him a head start. Do you show duplicate AVC HV drivers, as shown below? (in my case Code 31)

Chances are, if you have duplicates, you can uninstall the flagged one, and be just fine, like I did. ;) Yet, Christian can confirm this for you though, please wait for his response. He may need more information.

    Hello :)

In this case let's do something.

Use the uninstall tool an reboot.

After this, open Device Manager and delete all he entries with a yellow (!) signed attached. Reboot one more time and install the product by following the instructions posted in that link.

Let me know if everything is OK now.

    Take care.
