I've been very satisfied with BitDefender Internet Security 2008 trial and was going to purchase it until recently. A week before the trial expired I started getting the following message window "BitDefender Threat Scanner has encountered a problem and needs to close.". A screenshot is attached and I sent the report along with my email address.
I have BitDefender trial running on Windows Vista Home and the problem seems to only happen after I connect to my VPS using mstsc.exe console. After I close my VPS connection a few minutes later I get the message window and BitDefender is no longer running. I have to restart my computer so BitDefender can run again and if I don't the message window will popup every few minutes.
