Hello Sir,

This is my first post.

Sir actually I am trying to install Bitdefender Total Security 2012 and I am also having serial of it.

Now when I start Installing it, in the first step it scans my computer then it goes to the 'download application files' section in which it downloads the required files at very very slow speed.

So i want to know that can i download those application files manually????

If yes then please please tell me how to do it???

In this case, please use the offline installation kit.

When you are prompted to check for the latest updates during the installation process, please choose No.

I am also new here. I am moving from AVG Internet Security (Paid & Registered version, about to expire) to BitDefender.

Please what is the safest way to uninstall AVG and install BitDefender without hassles and worry of catching a virus while in the process?

The safest way to do this is to remove that other security solution with the uninstall tool, reboot and install Bitdefender by following the steps from the second link posted here.
