Itunes
Hello - I first installed Bitdefender 2012 and used it for a few days under extremely slow conditions. I uninstalled and reinstalled and no improvement. I then went on line again and saw the upgrade to 2013. I uninstalled and installed 2013 and not much has improved. While the speed of the computer has increased a bit, now I cannot get iTunes to get through the security.
I followed one tech response which said it will update to the 1349 version through the normal updat process. I have tried updating three times and I remain on version 1348 and cannot get through on iTunes. My Saturday evening plans are now toast because I cannot get on.
I read magazine articles that seem to indicate this was a good program, but I am having nothing but problems with it. I see from other postings that others get extremely poor results as well.
Is this software a lost cause and should I go back to my old internet security program? I changed because I wanted the best and the editor of the magazine is also getting a piece of my feedback.

I would say hang in there with Bitdefender, as with any new version there can be some bugs and glitches to work out. There are still some of us who have not received the 1349 build update, so maybe today?0 -
It's now 12 hours after the prior post and no update with Build 1349. How much longer do PAYING customers need to wait? If any member of this board does not like waiting over 48 hours since this Build 1349 was released reply to this thread!

I checked again just now, asked for a new update on the dashboard and version still shows 1348.
Sure would like to know how long it takes your mirrors to replicate?0 -

Welcome to the forums!
First of all, the update was released only for the US market and will be soon released for all the localizations.
If you installed Bitdefender using the UK/AU English kit, the update was not released yet there.

If so, please uninstall the current version and install the one from here:
- Click on the START menu button;
- Go to (All) Programs -> Bitdefender 2013 -> choose "Repair or Uninstall";
- Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer each time you are requested to;
